About This Event

Enjoy the sunset over the Hudson River and the Palisades cliffs from our idyllic Rockwood Hall foundation and trails!

Take in the sunset at the Rockwood Hall site of Rockefeller State Park Preserve with Park Guardian Melissa. This scenic and beautiful 3-mile hike of the grounds that once were home to William Rockefeller’s country estate offers old-growth trees, abundant birds, and panoramic views of the Hudson River as the sun sets behind the Palisades. Halloween costumes encouraged! The hike is at Rockwood Hall, DO NOT go to the main Preserve entrance.

Max: 40 people.

Cost: $4 per person.

Parking: FREE.
