Stained Glass Mosaic Workshop at the Italian Cultural & Community Center

Design and create your own 8" x 10" stained glass mosaic, a vibrant piece perfect for hanging in a window, without the need for lead or soldering tools. This hands-on workshop all students, regardless of experience level. Explore stained glass techniques in a warm, supportive environment where creativity and community come together.

Required Tools
Please bring the following tools to the first class. They can be found at most art supply stores:

1. Glass cutter
2. Tweezers (optional)
3. Glass wheeled nippers
4. Plastic running pliers

About the Instructor
Elizabeth Gtz. Carabeo is an accomplished artist with over 15 years of experience across multiple mediums, including metal embossing, stained glass, and mosaic art. She discovered her passion for mosaics under the mentorship of Jacqueline Halliburton and brings a distinctive artistic voice shaped by her background in Fashion Design. Elizabeth studied Byzantine Iconography for more than five years under Fr. Elias of St. Basil the Great Byzantine Catholic Church and further expanded her craft at the International Center for the Arts in Monte Castello di Vibio, Italy, under the guidance of Rick Shelley.

Cancellation Policy
Payment is non-refundable, but we offer credit toward a future group class if you cancel 48 hours in advance of the start of the first class. Credit is valid for six months from the start date of the course. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, your payment will be converted into a tax-deductible donation to the Italian Cultural & Community Center.
