Meet: 4:00 PM PST · Launch: 4:30 PM PST

Start/Finish: Ski Beach, Mission Bay (pin in event photos)
Route: Ski Beach → Barefoot Bar (quick toast + Charity Highlight) → Ski Beach

Theme: St. Paddy’s Day on the water — leprechauns, outrageous green fits, shamrockin’ everything, inflatable dinos, pun costumes… go wild.
(Keep it paddle-safe and secure anything that could fly off.)

What We’re Doing

We’re bringing a little luck to Mission Bay at golden hour with a costumed cruise. After launch, we’ll float over to Barefoot Bar for a quick toast that will make the onlookers green with envy (get it), then glide home as the sky turns gold like a leprechaun’s treasure.

Irreverent. Loud. Joyful.
This is your permission slip to dress up and let loose — while staying respectful and safe on the water.

Schedule

4:00 PM – Arrive, park, gear up, spooky pics
4:20 PM – Safety brief & route review
4:30 PM – Launch from Ski Beach
~5:15 PM – Quick toast at Barefoot Bar (45–60 min)
~6:00–6:30 PM – Golden hour glide back along the south side of Vacation Isle
~6:45 PM – Land at Ski Beach + post-paddle hangs with DJ & Firedancers

What to Bring

• SUP/board + leash
• PFD (waist-belt OK) & whistle
• White light or headlamp for dusk return (LEDs/EL wire encouraged)
• Water, warm layer, ID/card for Barefoot Bar
• Dry bag / phone case
• Costume! Epic is welcome. Unsafe is not.
(No giant wind-catching wings. No loose props sacrificed to the bay.)

Safety & Etiquette

• No open flames on boards or docks (LED flow toys only on the water)
• Stay with the pod; follow lead & sweep paddlers
• No glass on beach or boards
• Pack it in, pack it out — leave no trace
• Route may adjust based on conditions
