Final performances of the Liberation Academy Intensive, featuring 19 talented dancer/choreographers of Afro-descent who participated in the 6 month intensive program.

Intensive members trained with choreographers, artistic directors, dancers, musicians, dance historians, and a team of designers - lighting design, sound design, video design and stage management, to create original dance and dance/theater pieces that share intimate stories of growth, struggle, passion and freedom.

ACCESIBILITY
Please note that Dance Mission Theater is located on the second floor and is accessible by an elevator as well as stairs (about 20). Please choose "wheelchiar/limited mobility" seating at check out if you need to sit in the first row either becuase of limited mobility or site/hearing needs. We have an ADA accessible restroom and waterfountain and we have all-gender restrooms. If you have other access needs, please email stella@dancemission.com so that we can accomodate.
