Six Word Live Presents: Stories of Living Life at 100%

Six Words Live returns to Manny’s with a backstory show hosted by Larry Smith, creator of the Six-Word Memoir Project. Six storytellers will kick off their story with a Six-Word Memoir on the theme A Bittersweet Symphony: Stories of Living Life at 100%, then dive into the fuller tale behind it—each in six (ish) minutes. Expect an evening with stories that range from the profound to the playful, the sacred to the absurd.

Before intermission, it’s your turn: a Six-Word Slam where everyone in the audience is invited to share their own six-word take on the evening’s theme? Then our slate of storytellers will vote on one lucky participant to join them to tell the backstory behind their words live on stage in the second half of the show.
