About the Festival

The Silk Road Festival is a one-day experiential bazaar inspired by the Silk Road — one of history’s earliest and most influential global trade networks, where goods, ideas, and cultures were exchanged across continents.

Designed as a living marketplace, the festival brings together artisans, merchants, food vendors, performers, and community groups to explore trade, entrepreneurship, and connection — with culture as the context.

Curated Bazar – Artisan and community vendors grouped by craft and product style along a walkable “Merchant Road.”

The Oasis – food trucks/vendors inspired by Silk Road regions and a hospitality tent designed for conversation.

Camel Photo Moment – a family-friendly camel ride & display inspired by historic merchant journeys.

Kids Area – hands-on activities exploring tradestories, and creativity.

Live Programming – performances, demonstrations, and storytelling throughout the day.

The Exchange Table – a coin and currency display exploring value and trade

Storytelling Corners – quiet spaces for reflection and listening

Photo Booth – a themed photo experience
