Screen Printing on Cloth - Sat, Feb 7, 2026

In this full-day workshop, you'll screen print on cotton bandanas using simple cut-out stencils and textile inks. You will learn how to create your own stencils, mix the textile inks, and print your design(s) on bandanas. There will also be several pre-cut stencils to try. The instructor encourages a playful attitude, experimentation, and overlayering of prints to create rich surfaces. Participants should expect to be delighted and surprised by their printing efforts.

Four new bandanas are included in the workshop fee; additional bandanas can be purchased during the workshop (or participants can bring pre-laundered light-colored natural fiber fabrics and/or clothing).

No prior experience is necessary, but participants must be able to use an X-Acto knife to cut out a shape on acetate, pull a squeegee by hand, and stand for several hours while printing.
