Relating Beyond the Script: An Authentic Relating Night

What if you could slow down and actually notice how you relate — in real time?

This is a guided evening of connection where we practice being honest, present, and choiceful in how we show up with others.

Instead of debating relationship structures or theories, we’ll explore questions like:

• What happens in me when I feel attraction, distance, or uncertainty?
• How do I signal yes, no, or maybe?
• Where do I override myself?
• What feels nourishing in connection — and what doesn’t?

Whether you’re monogamous, nonmonogamous, poly-curious, partnered, single, or somewhere in between, this space is about practicing conscious connection — not performing a certain identity.

No experience with authentic relating is needed.

What we’ll actually do

Over 2 hours and 15 minutes at HeartLab, we’ll move through:

• A grounding arrival and clear agreements so everyone knows what to expect
• A few structured partner and small-group exercises (with prompts and guidance)
• Opportunities to notice your nervous system, your impulses, and your edges
• Reflection time to integrate what you discovered

Practices may include:

• Naming what’s happening for you in the moment
• Practicing consent and relational choice in low-stakes ways
• Experimenting with saying what’s true — kindly and clearly
• Listening without fixing or performing

You always choose your level of participation. There is no pressure to overshare or be “deep.”

This is a connection-centered space, not a dating or cruising event. Attraction and curiosity may arise — that’s human — but the focus is on practicing presence, consent, and relational awareness.

About the organizer:

Hey there! I’m Jasmin Pamukcu, a relationship coach and facilitator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I help people create relationships beyond the default script — especially folks who are polyamorous, nonmonogamous, or curious — by building more honesty, consent, and self-awareness into how they relate.

I design cozy, facilitated spaces that are warm, grounded, and thoughtfully held, with an emphasis on presence over performance and curiosity over getting it “right.” When I’m not facilitating, you’ll likely find me making art, harmonizing songs, or wandering outside. Come as you are.
