About This Event
Children living in homes rely on effective Registered Managers who continuously improve their skills and knowledge.
The role of a Registered Manager in children's homes is critical for ensuring excellent care and achieving positive inspection outcomes. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and can be demanding, but it is also rewarding. This course is specifically designed to provide managers with a fresh perspective on their role and the regulatory responsibilities that underlie their practice. It aims to offer practical guidance that will help enhance their leadership skills, as well as provide a space for managers to share their experiences and learn from one another. Additionally, this course will provide a reflective space for managers to explore their own personal development needs.
This one-day in-person session covers:
• Legal Responsibilities of the Registered Managers
• Practical understanding and implementation of key regulations and Quality Standards
• Leading Residential Care Staff to provide high-quality care
• Promoting safe and child-focused cultures in homes
• Positive preparation for the Ofsted inspection
