Reframing Bias: Asian Women Redefining Leadership

About the Event

Following the success of Breaking the Bamboo Ceiling for Asian Women in May, the European Asian Network (EAN) invites you to an evening of reflection, dialogue, and empowerment.

Our May poll revealed that many Asian women professionals in Europe continue to face persistent workplace stereotypes — being seen as hardworking but not leader material, the forever foreigner, or competent but cold.

This interactive workshop is a safe and supportive space to exchange experiences, unpack bias, and co-create practical solutions to move beyond these limiting narratives.

Together, we’ll explore how to:
• Recognize how stereotypes shape our leadership journeys
• Reframe bias into strength and self-advocacy
• Build personal and collective strategies for visibility, voice, and impact
• Strengthen solidarity among professional Asian women in Europe

Ticket information:
Your ticket includes participation in the workshop, the Chef's selection of fingerfoods and one complimentary drink (a glass of wine or a soft drink). This event is organized on a not-for-profit basis — the ticket price simply covers catering and Eventbrite’s administrative fees, so we can come together and share this experience.
