Redefining Balance: Finding Alignment in Work and Life

What does “balance” actually mean for you?

You’ve worked hard to build your career (and possibly, your own business), but somewhere between ambition, expectations, relationships, caregiving, leadership, and personal growth, “balance” can start to feel unclear or out of reach.

 This session is designed for the unique challenges professional women face: navigating evolving identities, increasing responsibility, and the quiet (or not-so-quiet) pressure to do it all, and do it well.

Rather than offering generic time-management advice, this session invites you to define balance on your own terms. Through guided reflection and facilitated discussion, you’ll explore where you feel aligned, and where you don’t, across your work and life. Together, we’ll also name the systemic and cultural pressures that shape women’s experiences, helping you separate personal choices from structural expectations.

You’ll leave with:

• A more personal definition of “balance” grounded in your values and current season
• Greater clarity about where you’re in and out of alignment
• Language to understand the external forces impacting your sense of identity and success
• A renewed sense of capability and agency to move toward the balance you seek

 This session is reflective, practical, and energizing, designed to create insight and momentum in just 45 minutes.

About the Facilitator

Ellen is a career, leadership, and life coach who helps you get un-stuck so you can create the life and career you crave. She provides guidance, support, and accountability to help her clients navigate new opportunities, transitions, or challenges in professional or personal life.  

Before stepping into coaching full-time in 2022, Ellen worked in the not-for-profit sector in the US. Caring for people has always been at the center of her professional life. Ellen believes we can be our best selves when we feel seen, heard, and aligned with our values.
