Red Cross Pillowcase Program at Queenstown Library

Helping kids prepare for emergencies in a fun, creative way!

Join us at Queenstown Library for a one-hour interactive workshop designed for children aged 8–10 years (Grades 3 & 4). Through engaging activities and discussions, kids will:

• Learn why being prepared matters
• Discover what to pack in an emergency kit
• Build emotional resilience for before, during, and after emergencies

Each child will decorate and take home their own pillowcase—starting their personal emergency kit!

Inspired by Hurricane Katrina, this global program empowers kids to feel confident and ready for unexpected events.
