REFUGE
Thursday 26 February, 6.30-8.30pm, Four Corners First-Floor Studio
This evening of films examines the notion of finding refuge and community in different spaces.
Beginning with a council funded film tackling housing and pollution issues in 1970s Haringey, we visit the community-changing impact of a Bengali newspaper, then take a walk from the Old Kent Road to the Kent Coast with Amaal Said and her mother, stop off at some East London allotments, and end the evening with an apocalyptic-flooded vision of the Docklands.
