It’s about that time again y’all! Our annual fundraising breaking event is on Sunday, April 12 2026. This year, the format will be 2v2 (Pro & Student duos). There will be prelim battles to determine the top spots. Once the top spots have been determined, a pro and student will be randomly selected to battle together as a duo.

No matter what level you’re at in your breaking journey, the goal is to bring everyone under one roof and inspire the next generation of breakers so that we can help elevate our local breaking scene and take it to the next level!

We look forward to seeing everyone at Bonsor Rec Centre (near Metrotown Skytrain Station). ALL students and the rest of our breaking community are invited to get down and represent to the fullest!

Preliminaries:

• top 16 Pros selection (open level 17)
• top 8 students (12&under) selection
• top 8 students (13-16yrs) selection

Main Event

• top 8 Pros randomized selection pairing with top 8 (13-16 year old students)
• top 9-16 Pros randomized selection pairing with the top 8 (12&under students)

There will be 2 sets of winners:

• 1st place out of the top 8 Pros & top 8 (13-16 students) will receive $150 cash!
• 1st place out of the top 9-16 Pros & top 8 (12&under students) will receive $150 cash!

Master Class Workshop with Mark Siller

The 2v2 battle is proceeded by a Master Class for breakers with at least two years of experience, offered by Mark Siller. In the workshop, Mark will share movement exercises, foundation, mentality, creative and cypher exercises. The aim is to encourage personal discovery and a feeling of excitement for possibility and creation. Whether you have experience in breaking or other forms of movement, and no matter your skill level, this workshop will build upwards, so you feel comfortable from the get-go and have options for layering complexity.

You can purchase tickets for the workshop as an add-on to the Rapture fundraiser, through Eventbrite. If you aren only attending the workshop, you can still use the eventbrite and just purchase a non-Rapture attendee workshop ticket.
