Make Your Own Ramen Bowl Set with Olu.T Designs @ Mon Pote

We're back with our previously sold out ramen set pottery workshops, led by designer and monochrome maker, Tosin of Olu.T Designs, hosted at another Bristol favourite: Mon Pote.

In your session, you’ll handcraft your own ramen bowl set, complete with personalisation options so you can truly make them your own. No experience needed — you bring the creativity (and your pals); and we'll provide everything else. This time around we're also introducing you to a new technique: fluting.

Expect three hours of hands-on creativity, where design, craft, and chill combine. We’ll guide you through the fundamentals of hand-building, moulding and glazing while you experiment, shape, stamp, and personalise your own ramen set. You'll have the opportunity to make two ramen bowls complete with additions such as chopstick rests.

The Experience

• 3-hour workshop | 2:30-5:30pm
• Individual ticket: £80 per person (plus booking fees)
• Sharing ticket for 2 (limited number available): £95 for 2(plus booking fees)
• Opportunity to make: Individual ticket - 2 ramen bowls and matching chopsticks rests, Sharing ticket - make a 2-bowl ramen set and matching rests together

• Max 12 spots per session
• Introduction to hand-building, the newly added technique of 'fluting', moulding techniques and sgraffito.
• All decorative tools include - premium glazes, imprint tools, and decorative decals
• All firings and materials included
• Finished pieces ready to collect approximately 3 weeks after your session

• Extra clay available to buy by weight during the session
