About This Event
Explore what truly drives you, reflect on your values, and discover how to create more meaning in your working life.
This program supports you in gaining clarity about your motivations, strengths, and long-term goals. Through guided exercises, reflections, and group discussions, you will:
- Gain insight into what gives your work meaning and purpose
- Understand your core values and how they influence your decisions
- Formulate a personal vision and set concrete goals for your future
- Learn how to make intentional choices that align with your purpose
Working in a small group of 10–15 like-minded professionals gives you the chance to share experiences, gain new perspectives, and learn from others who are also exploring how to find more meaning in their work.

- Understand your key motivators and how to nurture them

Price: € 695,- (excluding vat)
Professional development budget: 80% of our participants use their professional development budget for this training. Ask your employer if he is covering the cost? Contact amsterdam@theschooloflife.com for an invoice.

Duration: 1 workingl day, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including a warm, homemade, vegetarian lunch
Location: The School of Life, Frederiksplein 54, Amsterdam
Tip: Travel by public transport, ride your bike, or use one of the Park & Ride locations in Amsterdam
Group size: Minimum of 5, maximum of 10 participants
Study load: No mandatory homework. However, we encourage you to test and apply the techniques in your daily work after the training
Level: No prior experience necessary
Maggie Van den Heuvel
Maggie van den Heuvel holds a PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology and works as an Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam. She is a psychologist, researcher, trainer, coach, and artist. Her research focuses on well-being and health at work. Through her own company, she supports individuals, teams, and organizations both nationally and internationally. Maggie publishes in various (inter)national journals.
