Fancy brushing up on your Irish? Or maybe learning a totally new language? Do you love listening to Kneecap but haven’t a notion what any of it’s all about?

Well it looks like we’ve got the perfect event for you! On February 19th we’ll be hosting an Irish Language Lesson-Whisky Tasting!

This will be a fun event, open to all with a thirst for knowledge and/or whisky! You’ll learn some Irish while tasting 4 delicious drams (and we promise it won’t be anything like it was at school!)

The tasting will be brought to you by The Mother Superior’s own Jane and Caitriona. we’ll have a new face joining us; the lovely Niamh who is a native Irish speaker and teacher from the west of Ireland, now based in Edinburgh.

They’re might even be a cheeky discount for those who are brave enough to order their pint “as Gaeilge” after the event! Tickets are £10 pp and can be booked through the bar.
