Join us at the Bounceback Food Community Kitchen in Altrincham on Pancake day!

To celebrate Pancake Day, for the third year running, we will once again be serving up (you guessed it)...free pancakes!

From 11:30am-12:30pm we will be giving out free pancakes!

There will be a limited number of pancakes (1 per person) - so get them while you can.

And while you're there - why not get some lunch from our 'buy one, give one' lunch menu? Every meal on our lunch menu sold funds an extra meal that we distribute to 1 of our 15 partner foodbanks & sheltered accommodation sites across the North West.

Like the sound of what we do? Get a discounted lunch deal ticket for just £15 in advance (includes any main, side, drink and of course a pancake) that'll support our fundraising efforts and help us better plan ahead for the number of people coming on the day.

Who Are We

Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise tackling food poverty and food waste across the UK. Our Community Cookery School teams teach people how to cook, distribute nutritious meals, and help people gain employment in the food sector. In the North West we also operate 2 Community Kitchens: the original site at Altrincham Market (where the Pancake Party will take place) and a second site in Manchester city centre which opened in November 2024, to mark our 10-year anniversary. Our Social Impact

Since 2014 we have taught 10,000+ people how to cook, including stroke survivors, young carers, food bank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 15,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 290,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.

How do I get my free pancake?

All you need to do is register for tickets then come along on the day and place your order before between 11:30am-12:30pm. It's 1 free pancake per person while stocks last!

Where is the Bounceback Food Community Kitchen located?

You can find us at Altrincham Market, on Central Way, opposite the Everyman Cinema & Rudy's. There are plenty of parking options nearby, or we are a short walk from the Altrincham tram stop.
