Painting Soulful Eyes

Taught by local portrait artist Mireille Botros (@art_byrayray), this fun and accessible session is suitable for complete beginners and intermediate painters who are curious about painting eyes with acrylic or oils.

The workshop is designed to help you move past stiff, flat or overworked eyes. You’ll learn how to observe more deeply, simplify what you see, and use tone and colour to create eyes that feel alive and expressive. Ideal if you struggle to capture emotion or confidence in your portraits.

The session is taught in my studio at Yarn Studios in Shipley, BD17 7DW.
