About This Event

NYC Pride Open Houses are spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community to feel safe, valued, and supported in being their authentic selves.

Come to the NYC Pride office for an Open House & Winter Community Group Activity Fair

What to expect:

  • Meet the NYC Pride team and sign up to volunteer for NYC Pride 2026
  • Connect with community partners and learn how you can get involved with their initiatives
  • Enjoy refreshments and light bites

Community Partners joining us:

  • Oasis Community Pride Center: Wellness center for LGBTQ+ youth in #NYC
  • National Eating Disorder Association: The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) seeks to fundamentally change the way eating disorders are understood and treated so those affected can achieve lasting recovery and well-being.
  • TAPS HIV/Hep C Rapid Testing: Weekly/Monthly Groups/Workshops, Case Management, Prevention Services
  • New York State Department of Civil Service: We provide employment opportunities with the New York State Government.
  • Circus Academy New York: An LGBTQ+-owned organization committed to providing world-class circus education rooted in creativity, rigor, and community
  • Sam & Devorah For Trans Youth: We are on a mission to fuel belonging, resilience, and wellbeing in trans and nonbinary young people through our nationwide mentoring community. Our primary initiative, Trans Mentor Project, is a free, national virtual mentoring program for trans and nonbinary young adults across the country.
  • Lit Out Loud NYC: Lit Out Loud is a new read-aloud book club in New York City. We host monthly events at local bookstores and establishments across the city where people can connect with their community and reconnect with the written word through live performances of selected readings by talented actors and narrators.
  • Lantern House Clubhouse: Lantern House Clubhouse provides a supportive and restorative environment for individuals 18+ that have been diagnosed with a mental health illness through a Psychosocial lens.
  • Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs: MOIA's Outreach teams build community power and capacity within immigrant communities by raising awareness of city services and responding to community needs.

  • If your group would like to host a table to hand out flyers and promote your initiatives at this event, please contact tyler@nycpride.org

Donation:

  • NYC Pride Open Houses are free events. A suggested donation of $25 helps keep these events free for the entire community. Thank you for your generosity!

Three ways to help with this Open House:

  1. NEW Join our NYC Pride Open House Host Committee: This means you will come to the Open House and bring 2 new friends with you. If you're interested in joining the host committee please email tyler@nycpride.org
  2. Bring an item to contribute: The following items (see this list HERE) are needed at the Open House - if you're able to bring an item please indicate it on the RSVP form
  3. Volunteer: 10 volunteers are needed to help make the Open House a success - please sign up by clicking here and completing the form if you're able to volunteer
