Next Wave Jazz Series ft Lazar Miric & Andrea Scala

Born in Italy, and now based in Toronto, Andrea Scala is a drummer & composer who has toured the world with rock, progressive, pop, world, folk and, of course, jazz musicians & bands.

His collaborations include exceptional musicians such as David Binney, Shahzad Ismaily, Jozef Dumoulin and Roberto Tarenzi, to name-drop but a few. But for this extra special concert you’ll be treated to a mind-bending solo performance of his latest original material - just him, a drum kit & some electronics.

Opening the evening will be local hero, saxophonist & the man responsible for LAVENDER TOWN - Lazar Miric. He’ll be gracing all in attendance with his beautiful, strange & experimental original compositions, that all too rarely find their way out into decent society.
