Dr. Joel Diaz, DMD, MSD, is a board-trained Prosthodontist and Maxillofacial Prosthodontist based in the San Antonio area. Originally from Puerto Rico, he earned his dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, and completed advanced prosthodontics training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Diaz served as a Prosthodontist in the United States Air Force and as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He also completed fellowship training in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Passionate about education and digital dentistry, Dr. Diaz frequently lectures and teaches local CE courses, sharing insights on advanced technologies like 3D printing and digital workflows that enhance restorative and surgical practice. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys family time, cooking, travel, and the outdoors.
