Neonatal Baby Sensory Class - Four full sessions over 5 weeks

Come join us at Riverside Family Hub for a relaxing session of supporting you as a mparent to facilitate sensory activites with your baby.

These sessions are ideal for parents whos baby has access neonatal care due to health conditions and premature birth. 1 in 7 babies will visit neonatal care following their birth - we want to offer this session to support neonatal parents in having a safe and inclusive space to participate in baby classes for them and their baby.

Learn techniques to support your little ones development throught this wonderful vibrant class learning to connect and enhance the parent-infant relationship through touch and interaction.

These sessions are perfect for babies that are 0 weeks to 9 months old. If you are not sure please contact us to dicuss.

Our experienced instructor will guide you on how to facilitate mindfulness, tummy time and baby massage in a safe and confident way using a range of resources that will stimulate your childs develeopment and meet them where they are at indidudually in a personalised way. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents and share tips and experiences.

The mindfulness element offers parents the chance to switch off from the outside world and to simply enjoy relaxing with thier baby.

Our classes incorporate our unique award winning 7 steps approach and include, movement, play, gentle stretching, gentle baby touch, breathing exercises for parents and relaxation.

The session will give you a range of activities which will stimulate and calm, whilst supporting your baby's natural development considering their health and wellbeing. We use nursery rhyme to help enhance relaxation for your baby too.

All resources will be provided, all that we ask is that you can bring a blanket for little one and a cushion for yourself.

We are a support charity for expecting and new parents - so we offer additonal support alongside our sessions please see the support available should you need it. Our Outreach worker will attend the course to support you if you need further help and guidance.

All activities are baby led! These sessions are delivered at a relaxed pace so please dont worry if your baby needs feeding throughout.

You will recieve any handouts at the session. We use a blend of different reosurces to support the infant-parent relationship!

There is Limited Parking at this Venue so we are asking you park on surrounding roads or Asda.

Please arrive at 10.40am due to accessing the building and be ready to start.
