About Mollie O’Brien and Rich Moore

2025 marks 44 years since Denverites Mollie O’Brien and Rich Moore met at the Denver Folklore Center and began playing music together. They were bandmates in a blues band that started playing the bar circuit along the Colorado front range, and eventually became regulars in concerts and at festivals. In 2005, with both of their daughters grown and out of the house, they took the path of making music almost solely as a duo. Together and apart, they’ve released sixteen recordings with full bands, their family, as soloists and as a duo.

Their latest release, 2025’s Lost In The Crowd on Remington Road Records, perhaps truly showcases their talents as master interpreters of the American songbook. Both on record and in live performance their symmetry, synchronicity and humor are on full display.

About Celeste Krenz

Joining Mollie and Rich is former Denverite, Celeste Krenz, who has carved a distinctive path in the Americana and contemporary folk music scenes. Her 25-year career boasts 11 critically acclaimed albums, each reflecting her pure, sweet voice and heartfelt songwriting. Her sophomore album, Slow Burning Flame, produced by bluegrass legend Tim O’Brien, reached #11 on GAVIN’s Americana Chart and remained in the Top 20 for 11 weeks. Critics have lauded her work, with Colorado Daily noting her “meticulously drawn songwriting, equal parts torch and poetry, brain and soul,” and Billboard Magazine praising her “infectious blend of sweet vocals, story-based lyrics, and acoustic sensibilities.”
