MAX Women in Leadership is pleased to announce the International Women’s Day event, generously hosted in partnership with McCarthy Tétrault LLP.

This year’s theme, "Building Resilience", is dedicated to highlighting the journeys of women leaders who have navigated challenges, overcome barriers, and built meaningful impact across their careers. Through honest reflection and shared experience, this evening will explore how adversity can shape leadership, resilience, and purpose.

Designed to inspire and educate, this event creates a space where meaningful conversation meets action: empowering women at all stages of their careers to reflect, learn, and grow through shared stories of perseverance and leadership.

Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day 2026 with MAX Women in Leadership and McCarthy Tétrault, as we come together to learn from one another and rise together.

Based in Montréal, she leads a high-performing organization of more than 65 finance professionals through a team of six directors, positioning finance as a strategic partner to the business by enabling critical decision-making, optimizing results and returns, and maintaining a strong and disciplined control environment.

With over 25 years of experience, Sofia has built her career at the intersection of technical accounting excellence, operational rigor, and collaborative leadership.

Indira Moudi | CEO & Chair, Viandes Lafrance

Indira Moudi is a global business leader with deep expertise in sustainable agribusiness, energy, and economic transformation. As President & CEO of Viandes Lafrance, she oversees a pioneering meat-processing enterprise in Shawinigan, Québec, turning it into a nationally recognized model of responsible and inclusive production. Under her leadership, the company became Québec’s first federally certified multi-species slaughterhouse, while expanding its approach to sustainability across Canadian and international markets.

A certified Global Leader from Harvard Business School (through the Bill George program), Indira is a recognized champion of "repreneurship" revitalizing family-run and legacy businesses as engines of sustainable economic development Her leadership has earned her several prestigious awards, including the Pauline-B. Allard Builder Award, SME CEO of the Year 2023, and the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 African Canadian Business Summit.
