London Literary Salon - celebrate our 2nd birthday with us!

European Writers Salon (www.saloneurope.org) is delighted to invite you to join us for a friendly literary salon in central London to celebrate our 2nd birthday. All are welcome!

We'll listen to excellent readings and get to know writers from across Europe in a friendly setting. The theme of the evening will be LOVE and you will also have the chance to explore the gallery and see the exhibition of artist Victoria Cantons - A Formula For How To Find Love.

This will be a friendly and welcoming event - if you are planning on coming alone, don't worry! We want to meet you.

Once you have booked, we will send information about how to sign up to read.

There is also a writing workshop, Let Me Tell You What I Love, taking place from 5.30pm-7.30pm. You can sign up to do one or both.

Join artist and textual flaneur Isabella Streffen for this writing workshop to flirt with texts known and unknown, toy with constraints, and to explore love in all its forms, inspired by Victoria Canton’s new exhibition A Formula For How To Find Love.

This two-hour workshop suitable for all writers of all types and experiences, borrows techniques from the visual arts to bring fresh articulations to our loves, as we make free with and take a deep dive into the love canon. We’ll make lists inspired by Fanny Howe, Roland Barthes and Sei Shonogan; feel the edges of our desires with Siken, Sappho, and June Jordan, and find new words for our unromantic loves too. Working individually and intuitively, we will create a mini-collection for the European Writers Salon 2nd anniversary.

If you attend the workshop, entry to the salon is included.
