Join us every Saturday night at The Clubhouse Laietana for Live In The Alcove — a late-night live music session celebrating some of Barcelona’s best local musicians.

Each week, we hand-pick one standout local artist or band to perform a 90-minute live set, featuring a mix of original music and carefully chosen covers, all in a relaxed, intimate setting.

Grab a drink, settle into the vibe, and enjoy Niki’s North American soul food (served until 1:00 AM) while discovering the city’s vibrant grassroots music scene.

🎤 January Line-Up

January 10 – Barko Waltz

A multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Barko Waltz was born in Argentina and raised in Detroit. Drawing from a wide range of influences, Barko’s sound is a soulful blend of American roots music infused with a raw, ’60s rock ’n’ roll spirit.

January 17 – One Card Short

An Englishman, an Irishman, a Frenchman, and a Canadian walk into a bar — and make electric folk. One Card Short is a Barcelona-born international group built on friendship as much as music. Featuring Luke (guitar, vocals), Chris (piano, vocals), Romi (bass, vocals), and JP (percussion), their sound blends folk energy with a modern edge, shaped by shared stories, pub sessions, and the rhythm of city life.

January 24 – Liam Cloud

Liam Cloud is an accomplished Filipino-Māori singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently touring his original music, available on all major streaming platforms. His sound seamlessly fuses the smoothness of ’90s R&B, the raw energy of rock & roll, and the lyrical flow of hip-hop — delivered through angelic falsettos, virtuosic guitar work, and deeply immersive performances.

January 31 – Iris (Mikaela & Dylan)

Iris is an Irish-Uruguayan duo (sometimes a trio) bringing high-energy indie and rock tunes to the stage. Known for their upbeat sound and versatile vocals, they thrive on crowd connection and deliver performances packed with warmth, energy, and momentum.

All artists booked for Live In The Alcove have come through Banned Camp, our music open mic, held every Thursday at 8:30 PM.

🎵 Come along any Thursday, play a few songs, meet other musicians, and get a feel for the room.

💰 We currently offer limited paid gigs to standout performers from Banned Camp.

🚀 As the night grows and the audience builds, we’re hoping to expand paid opportunities for local artists.
