About This Event
Two romance authors, two swoony new releases, and one night of real, raw, flirty, and fun happily-ever-after talk.
Join two romance writers for a behind-the-scenes conversation about their newest releases. One Last Thing Before You Go by Caroline Frank follows the collision of grief, longing, and unexpected connection in a small Maine town, where fixing up a beloved bookstore might just mend two broken hearts—if they can stop fighting the feelings neither of them planned for. Guess and Pray by Kim Swizz features a fake relationship born out of necessity, only to discover that pretending not to fall in love is far harder than either of them expected, especially when past wounds and real-life responsibilities complicate everything. Together, these stories explore love that arrives messy, inconvenient, and absolutely worth the risk.
Expect swoony small-town chaos, fake dating shenanigans, and one-night stands that turn into oh-no-it’s-you moments as Caroline and Kim dish on heartbreak, heat, and happily-ever-afters. It’s real, raw, flirty, and fun—and a book lover’s perfect night out.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Caroline Frank is a Venezuelan author and self-proclaimed shoe addict. She currently resides in Philadelphia with her husband, two crazy cats, and even crazier German Shepherd.
She spends her days reading, writing, and crafting. Her favorite things include the first sip of a Coke on a hot day, crocheting, baking sourdough, and using self-deprecating humor to get through the day.
ABOUT ONE LAST THING BEFORE YOU GO
Carlotta “Lottie” Veracruz’s idea of a happily ever after shatters when her diagnosis of PCOS and endometriosis leaves her unable to have kids and divorced. Two years later, she’s back in her hometown, Ceres Cove, living in her brother’s loft and working at the town’s only bookstore, all while plotting how she can get back to her high profile life in New York. When the bookstore owner passes away, one too many martini’s leaves grief-stricken Lottie to have a one-night stand with a man seven years her junior.
After a childhood spent bouncing around cities with his single mom, freelance photographer Knox Riddick has no intention of putting down roots. But when he’s summoned to the small town Ceres Cove, Maine after his estranged father’s death, the last thing Knox expects is to inherit a percentage of a bookstore or for the other part of it to be left to the beautiful woman he last saw sneaking out of his hotel room days before.
If Lottie and Knox want to have any chance of getting back to their lives, they must work together to fix up the bookstore and sell it. This means keeping their hands off one another, no matter how strong the temptation is. But the more time they spend together, the harder it is for Lottie to ignore her feelings, including her lingering fear that Knox will reject her once he learns she can’t have kids. And when they give into their desire for one another, they might learn firsthand why mixing business with pleasure always is a recipe for disaster!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After nearly half a decade of practicing law, Kim Swizz is now a recovering attorney, living her best life writing small-town romance. Kim has always had a passion for creative writing and has come a long way from the book she wrote and had bound in first grade, a titillating story entitled “The Cat is Eating.”
A forever Jersey girl turned former Arizona resident, Kim now calls Boston home with her husband, though they love to travel together.
When she is not writing spicy scenes or making her readers cry, you can find her crocheting tiny things, knitting, embroidering, cross-stitching, bullet journaling—you get the point. Kim is never without her emotional support Kindle and is an avid F1 fan, keeping up with news on all the drivers, but mostly Carlos Sainz.
Kim is an unapologetic Disney adult who loves the smell of fall, small animals, and dancing her heart out (and Carlos Sainz).
ABOUT GUESS AND PRAY
Eli Chambers doesn't do relationships. He respects the hell out of women, but that linked-life, tied-together, found-your-person setup is not for him, and he's always sure to be clear about that. Still, he's a damn good time...
Iris Sutton is a young, single mom whose life revolves around her daughter and her dedication to her job as a paralegal. She's responsible, dedicated, controlled, reliable—she's stable. And when the boy-turned-man from her past pops back up, she knows that what Eli offers is all wrong for what she needs.
After a few stumbles, Eli and Iris find themselves fast friends, battling through the challenges tax season loves to bring. But things get tricky when Iris's unwelcome ex, Archer, blows into town and demands she return to him. In a panic, Iris claims Eli as her very serious boyfriend. Ever the protective and helpful friend, Eli steps up to maintain the ruse until Archer takes the hint and gets lost.
A fake relationship doesn't count, and feelings won't get involved. This is going to be just fine...
Guess and Pray is a small-town, fake dating, single parent, opposites attract, open-door romance.
