Formed in 2001 by a group of Neighbours scriptwriters, Sand Pebbles have spent the past 25 years building a legendary reputation in Melbourne’s live music scene. Known for their sprawling, twisting, and ever-evolving sound, the band continues to defy categorisation—melding hypnotic grooves, lush soundscapes, and raw creative energy into something truly unique.

Performing as a quintet, the current lineup—Chris Hollow, Ben Michael X, Andrew Tanner, Leroy Cope and Gareth Skinner—bring experience and a loyal following to the stage. With a rich catalogue of acclaimed albums, including their most recent releases The Antagonist (2024) and Pleasure Maps (2017), Sand Pebbles promise an immersive live experience for both long-time fans and new listeners alike.
