In this class, Kim Lin will teach you how to protect yourself against cyber threats and attacks like malware and phishing. You will learn the essential steps you can take to take control of your safety while browsing and using the internet, ensuring you are safeguarding your personal data and practicing responsible online behavior.

About the Instructor

Kimberly Lin is currently a Library Intern at Laney College and recently served as a Library Intern at the Mechanics’ Institute this past fall. Kim is pursuing her Master’s in Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. She holds an Associate’s degree in Library Information Technology from City College of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from San Francisco State University.
