About This Event

Presented by the USF Center for Hospice, Palliative Care and End of Life Studies and the Florida Policy Exchange Center on Aging

People living with dementia and their family care partners encounter significant challenges from initial diagnosis through long‑term care across community and residential settings. This conference convenes leading dementia care professionals, students, and community advocates to advance high‑quality, person‑centered approaches to dementia care. Attendees will receive evidence‑based insights on dementia foundations, effective behavioral and pharmaceutical interventions, and the lived experiences of individuals and caregivers. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, practical guidance, and an optional virtual dementia experience sponsored by Empath Health, attendees will develop essential skills to better support people living with dementia and collaborate more effectively with their care partners.
