About This Event
Experience Black Culture and Black History in Colorado with the Denver Democrats of House District 8 .
Come celebrate Black History Month with the Denver HD8 Democrats. Special guest Colorado Senate President James Coleman will share his experience and speak about the history of Black legislators in Colorado. Funds raised will support House District 8's get out the vote efforts.
Enjoy roasted chicken, smoked turkey collard greens, mac and cheese, and candied yams. Beer and wine will be available.
Early bird tickets are available until Wednesday February 25th, 2026! Tickets will be sold at the door via cash, check and QR code. Capacity is 75 on a first come first served basis. Sponsorhips can also be arranged by contacting hd8@denverdemocrats.org.
