Home: Here and Now exhibition at St Helens Library

Explore the experiences of Chinese people who migrated to Tasmania, from the 1880s through to today. Oral histories are paired with objects meaningful to the participants. The interviewees reflect on their modern lives and traditional values.

Home: Here and Now is curated by TMAG’s Cultural Heritage team with assistance from the Chinese Community Association of Tasmania and Tasmania’s Fujianese community. The exhibition is supported by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
