HHS 50th Anniversary: The Golden Gig

Calling all former Haslingden High School and Sixth Form students and staff!

You are invited to take a trip down memory lane and join us to celebrate HHS’ 50th anniversary at The Golden Gig!

Always wanted to attend a school reunion? Here’s your chance!

Join us at Haslingden High School and Sixth Form (sixth form building) on Thursday 19th March, 2026, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM for a night to remember. Let’s celebrate half a century of memories, friendships, and achievements together.

What to expect:

• A blast-from-the-past gig featuring live music from incredibly talented current and past students - see old friends perform together again!
• Music over the decades.
• Refreshments and bar provided by the HHS PTFA.
• Opportunities to catch up with old friends and past teachers.
• Interactive “Where Are They Now?” displays.

Where to park:
The sixth form car park will be open, along with street parking on Greens Lane and Broadway. Please enter on foot through the gates by the sixth form building. Entrances via Broadway will be locked. Please respect our local residents when entering and exiting.

Come solo or bring a group - you won’t want to miss this special occasion. See you there!

• All attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. A ratio of one adult per child is required.
• Only alcohol purchased at the bar may be consumed on the premises. Challenge 25 will be in operation.
• For safeguarding purposes, external security staff may carry out bag searches in line with Martyn’s Law.
