Graduate Council Presents: Valentine's Day Mixer

Looking for love? Taken? Somewhere in between? Or just here for good vibes, food, and community?
Join us for a Valentine’s Day Mixer that’s open to everyone, regardless of relationship status. This event is all about connection, fun, and celebrating Valentine’s Day in a relaxed, judgment-free way.

We’ll have food and drinks, plenty of time to mingle, and several optional, low-pressure activities designed to help break the ice and spark conversation. One of the highlights will be “Pitch & Present”, where pairs of friends can give a short, playful presentation pitching the other person as a potential romantic partner. Participation is completely optional - feel free to just watch, cheer, and enjoy.

You’ll also be able to grab free Valentine’s cards and take part in some easy crafting activities (such as cookie decorating or similar hands-on activities) throughout the evening.

Come solo, with friends, or with your partner - this mixer is about building community, meeting new people, and celebrating all kinds of relationships in a fun and welcoming space.

Ticket price includes:

• 2 drink tickets (lager, IPA, Valentines-themed cocktail, mocktail)
• Food and dessert
• Free Valentine's cards
• optional activities (cookie decorating, Pithc&Present - please indicate during registration if you’re interested in participating; we’ll follow up with details)
• Immaculate vibes, zero pressure, and guaranteed good energy

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED IF REQUESTED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE EVENT. See information here for reselling tickets.

Re-sellers and purchasers must coordinate payment independently. UChicago Grad Council will not facilitate any transfers.

Once payment has been coordinated, resellers can change the name on their ticket to the purchaser.
