Background

When photographer Denise Lin turned 40, she was inspired to celebrate the beauty of women embracing this stage of life, leading to the creation of the 40 Over 40 photography campaign. Through the project, she discovered powerful stories of confidence, growth, and resilience, which inspired her to take the celebration even further. The result was Glowing Beyond: The Beyond Beauty Gala - a fundraiser created to honor the campaign’s participants and raise awareness and funds for women’s health in midlife and beyond. Proceeds from the gala support the BC Women’s Health Foundation and its initiatives for mature women’s health.

Glowing Beyond: The Beyond Beauty Gala is a fundraising gala event that celebrates the participants of the 40 Over 40 Photo Campaign by photographer Denise Lin.
