This annual event filled with inspiration, encouragement and life-changing leadership skills to help girls thrive and succeed. You’ll hear from local female entrepreneurs, industry leaders and Tempe Vice Mayor Doreen Garlid.

❤️ WHEN: Friday Reception 3/27 630-8pm, Saturday Summit 3/28 from 830am-2pm
WHERE: Rio Salado College Conference Center, 2323 West 14th St. Tempe, AZ 85281
WHO: Young Women ages 14-19 who want to accomplish their big goals and learn skills sets for success.
REGISTER: All attendees must register for the events.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR $1500 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP: Nominate a deserving Jr or Sr high school girl in Arizona who demonstrates leadership and kindness – girls can self nominate with an adults letter of recommendation. Read the requirements and details for The Girls Change The World $1500 Scholarship. Applications open Feb 9-close midnight PST on Mar 13. All nominees will be celebrated at the Friday evening reception March 27th and the 6 winners will be awarded on stage at the Summit March 28th. No fee to nominate – all nominees are encouraged to attend the Summit register below. (see picture below of past winners) NOMINATE/APPLY here.

The 7th Annual Summit is more than just a fun event with breakfast, lunch, and fun. You’ll walk away with new leadership skills, unstoppable confidence, useful tools to navigate life with, money skills and connections to inspiring women.

✔ Learn practical leadership skills you need for school, life, goals and your future
✔ Have fun with great people, includes continental breakfast and lunch
✔ Learn money skills to learn how to earn more, save more, & budget better
✔ Meet and connect with inspiring local female leaders and mentors
✔ Get informed around college scholarships and a list of scholarship opportunities
✔ Celebrate six girls winning $1500 for college – The Girls Change The World Scholarship
✔ BONUS – All attendees earn a certificate of completion for 6 hours of leadership for your college resume

Must register for the events. Register for one or both days. Friday reception is complimentary thanks to our sponsor Terracon. Saturday summit is $15pp – if you need a scholarship use promo code ‘gift’ when you register. Summit Registration closes March 23 at 6pm.

SUMMIT FAQ’S:

• Drop off: Free parking is on site, if you are dropping girls off just look for the balloons at the front door.
• Attire/Bring: Casual cute attire is appropriate. Please NO cut off shorts or half shirts. Bring a water bottle and a light sweater if you get cold easily. We always take a ton of pictures!
• Onsite Supervision: Registered attendees are responsible for remaining in the designated Summit areas throughout the event. The event producers are not responsible for attendees who leave the event spaces.
• Photography: The event is photographed and videotaped. By registering you will be a part of our photos.
• Tag/Credit: On socials please tag @girlsrulefdn and/or use #shineyourlight and #girlschangetheworld.

Friday March 27 Reception:
6:30-8pm light appetizers – meet the mentors and celebration of all 2026 Scholarship nominees. Sponsored by Tarracon.

Saturday March 28 Summit:
8:30-9am – Registration, continental breakfast, free head shots
9am – We start the day!
9-11:30am Program/speakers/workshops
11:30-12:30: Lunch, the fashion show and special guest speaker
12:30-2pm: Program/speakers, award the six $1500 scholarship winners
2pm: End the day
