Genetic Code Expansion in Biotechnology 2026

Genetic Code Expansion in Biotechnology 2026 will take place from 29 June to 1 July 2026 at VU Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Genetic code expansion has emerged as a powerful and rapidly advancing field, enabling the site-specific incorporation of non-canonical amino acids into proteins and opening new possibilities across biotechnology, chemical biology, and biocatalysis. GCEBio2026 is organized within the framework of the BiocatCodeExpander consortium and aims to bring together researchers working at the interface of chemistry, biology, and biotechnology.

The conference will provide a forum for both established and early-career researchers to present and discuss recent advances in areas including:
