GenesisCare Symposium 2026

Our annual symposium has become a fixture in the GenesisCare calendar and we're pleased to confirm this year’s meeting will be held at The Queen's Hotel, Leeds on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 April 2026. Full CPD accreditation will be available.

The format will mirror the 2025 meeting, with two workshops options on Friday. This year’s first option will be a comprehensive introduction to reirradiation, and I’m delighted to announce that Prof Stefanie Corradini from the University of Munich - who sits on the ESTRO reirradiation taskforce – will join us along with several colleagues from GenesisCare. The second workshop will focus on multidisciplinary approaches to brain metastases with Dr Liam Welsh from the Royal Marsden Hospital as our external speaker. The workshops will conclude with a dinner for all symposium participants.

The agenda on Saturday has four sessions:

· The future of immuno-radiotherapy: Prof Jim Welsh, MD Anderson Cancer Center

· The evolving role of AI in oncology: Dr Jorge Reis Filho, Chief AI and Data Scientist, AstraZeneca

· MR-guided radiotherapy data showcase: Chaired by Dr Philip Camilleri, GenesisCare

· Social media for the oncologist: Martini Siu and Dasha Angelova, TalkingPulse

A fee of £100 will be charged to attend, with all proceeds donated to Yorkshire Cancer Research and Brainstorm.

We’re confident the two-day programme will offer something for everyone, alongside the usual GenesisCare hospitality.
