Important information

This event takes place in a private area of the bar. Please ask staff to direct you on arrival.

- Doors open 7.00 pm

- Event starts 7.30 pm

- Speed dating finishes at approximately 9.30 pm

- Venue closes 11.00 pm

It’s essential that you arrive before 7.25 pm in order to take part. We might not be able to allow entry if you are late.

How it works

When you arrive at the venue you’ll meet our friendly hosts. We’ll split the room in half then briefly explain the format of the event and you’ll be straight into your first date.

You’ll have 4 minutes to meet and briefly get to know each date. We’ve found that 4 minutes is just long enough to find out if you'd like to see someone again but not too long if you don't.

After meeting each guy, you need to decide if they are a ‘yes’ a ‘no’ or a ‘friend’ and jot down any notes to help you remember them. You'll find out who you matched with the next day and you can message your matches via our app or website.

We'll have a short break halfway through for you to top up your drinks.

After the event

Once the speed dating is over, we'll allow time at the end to mingle with your fellow speed daters, but this is often when the fun really starts. Most people stay at the bar for a few drinks and get to know the people they like a little better.
