Full Moon Hike - Horsnell Gully 3rd March

Our Full Moon Hikes for adventurous hikers are here!

We walk for not just physical but also positive mental health outcomes.

Please arrive at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start - details on our meet spot will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to the event. This event is timed for the Total Lunar Eclipse.

Ian and Rod will be you walk leaders and will be here to meet you. For your safety, our leaders carry group first-aid kits, emergency communication devices and are certified in Wilderness First Aid. Both are also qualified and experienced bushwalking leaders.

We will walk a combination of bush-trails for approx. 8km/2.5-3 hours. We rate this a moderate hike with hilly sections. Walking experience on uneven terrain and bush-trails in daylight is essential for this event.

Due to the variability of the weather, the following items will be needed:

- a small daypack (25-35 litre)

- head torch

- 1-2 litres of water

- depending on the forecast wet weather gear may be needed

- blister kit/personal medication

- boots/comfortable walking shoes

- warm clothing for after the walk (jumper/jacket) in case it is chilly

- walking poles (optional)

Please ensure you have the minimum gear required as no refunds are possible after booking. If you arrive underprepared without wet weather clothing or the gear listed above, our Leaders have the right to ask you not to walk with us for safety reasons if you do not have the weather appropriate gear with you.

Our walks are all about nature connection, fun, health and friendship - not a personal training session. If we can't walk and talk at the same time we are walking too fast! And we never leave anyone behind.

If the weather forecast is for extreme weather or a fire ban is issue for the Adelaide Hills, this walk will be cancelled the day before and fully refunded.

Minimum age requirement is 15 years old as long they are accompanied by a supervising adult - please check if unsure.
