A proud South Georgia native, Chef Locklear’s love for Southern classics began in his family’s kitchen and has since taken him on a remarkable journey across the culinary world. From refining his craft in Atlanta under Darryl Shular—the first African American Certified Master Chef—to leading renowned kitchens like Ted’s Montana Grill and serving as Executive Chef at Georgia Southern University, his career is nothing short of inspiring.

He’s cooked Italian cuisine in the Hamptons at Cittanuova, prepared French alpine fare at Telluride’s Bon Vivant (yes, even snowmobiling ingredients up the mountain!), and helped open José Andrés’ The Bazaar in South Beach, training alongside Michelin-starred chefs and mastering modernist Spanish techniques. Today, with over 20 years of experience, he leads high-end hospitality projects through his consulting firm Knives and Roses, serves as a private chef throughout the Southeast (especially Atlanta), and owns Graze Craze in Sandy Springs, bringing elevated charcuterie to every occasion. His cooking blends precision, premium ingredients, and storytelling—whether rustic, refined, or avant-garde.

Paired alongside this culinary artistry are the exceptional wines of Pride Mountain Vineyards. Founded in 1990 and family-owned since 2004 by Suzanne Pride Bryan and Steve Pride, Pride Mountain sits 2,000 feet above sea level across 235 stunning acres in the Mayacamas Mountains, with 85 acres under vine. Under CEO and Director of Winegrowing Steve Pride and winemaker Matt Ward—whose experience includes Screaming Eagle, Craggy Range in New Zealand, and Atelier Melka—Pride continues to produce wines of extraordinary character and distinction.
