From Mates to Manager - (FULL DAY)

Managing your former peers is a learnable skill. The most common challenge for newly promoted leaders is how to performance manage and discipline the people who were formerly peers. The From Mates to Manager workshop teaches leaders and people-managers strategies to negotiate the line between friendship and leadership and be able to move forward in their new position. Leaders will learn how to think through the challenges of managing friends and former peers while still getting the job done, thus helping them to walk the leadership line with style with humour and grace.

• A useful, flexible model for delegating projects and tasks
• Constructive responses to the challenging situations you may have to deal with
• Making an Action Plan to bring the lessons from this workshop back to your workplace
