About This Event

A 75-minute Gong Journey experience to gently close the work week and enter the weekend relaxed, grounded, and restored.

The Friday Exhale is a 75-minute gong bath series designed as a calm, grounding transition from the workweek into the weekend. These sessions are offered at this venue on the first and third Fridays of each month for the whole of 2026.

On Friday evenings, the body and mind are ready to let go, making it easier to move out of effort and into deep rest. This session offers a simple, non-effortful way to release the accumulated momentum of the week and ease into your Friday night feeling settled and restored.

Join us for an immersive Gong Sound Meditation at The Labyrinth on Jervis Street, facilitated by Aravind Vanchesan (Theta Space).

NOTE:

These Friday evening sessions are intentionally priced lower to keep them accessible and welcoming for the local community. A regular, grounded way to unwind together at the end of the week.

What to Expect

This is a deeply restorative, laying down experience. No effort, movement, or prior meditation experience is required. The session unfolds gently and progressively:

  • Arrival & grounding to help you settle into the space
  • Intention setting to consciously arrive and let the day go
  • Guided breathwork to down-regulate the nervous system
  • Full-spectrum gong sound immersion for deep rest and inner stillness
  • Quiet closing to integrate before re-entering the evening

The experience offers gong sound immersion using large, high-quality gongs, including two massive 38-inch Sun Gongs. The layered resonance of the gongs creates a surrounding “sound envelope” that many people experience as timeless, floating, or spacious, allowing the mind to quiet and the body to rest deeply.

Each sound journey is unique and unfolds organically in the moment.

Who This Is For

  • Anyone feeling busy, overstimulated, or tense
  • Those looking for a non-effortful way to meditate
  • Experienced meditators seeking deeper rest and integration

What to Bring

  • Yoga mat
