January 20th - Dreaming Out Loud: A Vision Board Party

Ready to turn your "someday" into "right now"? Join us for a cozy, creative afternoon where we swap stories and build the future we want to see. We’re moving past the stereotypes seen on screen and creating our own authentic narratives!

Why a Vision Board?

It’s more than just glue and glitter (though we love both!). A vision board is a powerful tool to:

• Clarify Your Intentions: Moving to a new place or starting a new year can be a whirlwind. This helps you pause and decide what you actually want.
• Boost Visibility: Even if the world doesn't see us clearly yet, we see us. This is about making your private dreams visible and real.
• Manifest Joy: By focusing on positive images and goals, you train your brain to look for opportunities and "sparkle" in everyday life.

The Goal

Our mission is to leave the session feeling inspired, connected, and holding a physical map of our goals for 2026. Whether you want to manifest a new career, deeper friendships, or just more self-love, there is a space on the board for you.

What to bring: Just your wonderful self! we’ll provide the boards, magazines, and snacks. If you have a specific photo or a quote that "speaks to your soul", feel free to bring it along!

February 17th - Movie Night. Join us for a viewing and discussion for Visible: Out on Television (TV Mini Series). This mini series explores the history of the American LGBTQ+ movement through its portrayal on television. The series uses archival footage and new interviews to examine how TV has shaped public perception and how the movement has influenced television, covering themes like homophobia, evolving LGBTQ+ characters, and the impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

We will have a discussion and food after.

The Fresh Starts Group & Trans Femme Gathering is more than just a meetup—it’s a growing and affirming space for trans femmes, nonbinary folks, and anyone exploring their gender in ways that don’t always fit the binary. Whether you're newly transitioning, years into your journey, or simply exploring what gender means to you, this space was created with you in mind.

We gather to celebrate authenticity, build trust, and create connections rooted in joy, support, and shared experience. Our intention is to:

• 🌈 Create a welcoming space where you can just be—no need to explain, justify, or shrink yourself. Come as you are.

• 💬 Explore the needs of our community—we listen to each other, uplift each other’s voices, and grow together.

• 🛠️ Offer support and guidance for those just beginning their transition—from practical advice to emotional grounding, we’re here for each other.

• 🎨 Host events that inspire forward movement—whether through art, skill-sharing, panels, or resource sessions.

• 🎉 Have fun! Laughter, celebration, dance, snacks, and moments of pure queer joy are all part of our toolkit.
