About This Event

A live, podcast-style conversation to talk honestly about Black fatherhood, mental health, and connection.

Forge: The State of Black Fatherhood

A Real Conversation for Fathers

Being a father comes with a lot—responsibility, pride, pressure, love, and stress. Too often, there aren’t many spaces where fathers can talk honestly about all of it.

Forge: The State of Black Fatherhood is a live, community-centered conversation created for fathers to gather, reflect, and connect. This is a space to talk about what fatherhood actually looks like today—mentally, emotionally, and practically—without judgment or performance.

The event is designed as a relaxed, podcast-style conversation, not a panel or lecture. Think real talk, shared experiences, and community wisdom. You’ll hear from fathers, leaders, and people doing the work in the community—and you’ll also have the chance to share your own voice if you choose.

This gathering is about being seen, being heard, and knowing you’re not doing this alone.

There will also be time to connect with other fathers, explore community resources, and walk away with something meaningful you can take home and share with your family.

What to Expect
