In this workshop, you’ll learn how to isolate your sense of smell (olfaction) and taste (gustation) to better understand how it all works together. While we will be tasting some coffees, this experience goes far beyond coffee—it’s designed to help you identify aromas, detect flavor patterns, and explore your personal preferences, predispositions, and sensitivities across all foods and drinks.

Sip Society is Chicago’s hands-on coffee education community. We host skill-focused workshops, tastings, and training sessions for baristas, café teams, and dedicated home brewers who want to deepen their understanding of coffee through practice.
