Fabric Painting with Acrylics (A&C Seattle)

Discover a range of techniques that can transform your Fiber Art, creating incredible surfaces and patterns! We will explore Acrylic Fluid & Heavy Body Paints in combination with a textile medium that can be heat set, creating a soft hand that can also be laundered. Whether you choose to use your fabrics for art to wear, functional art, wall hangings, sculpture or art installations, this workshop will open your eyes to a whole new approach.

I will share samples, demonstrate the process, answer questions and work with artists individually during the workshop. Each artist will create samples to take home, which will serve as a valuable reference for future projects. A class summary will also be provided afterwards so that artists can continue their exploration independently.

All materials provided however feel free to bring any fabrics you'd like to experiment with. Bring box lid or tray to transport wet art afterwards. FREE 2 hour parking. Artists of all levels are welcome. Dress for mess!
