The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is Scotland's biggest running event of the year! Choose your distance and take on a Marathon, Half Marathon, Team Relay, 10K or 5K race; or get your little ones involved by signing up for any of the junior runs!

Minimum sponsorship target

We ask that you commit to raising a minimum amount of sponsorship , depending on the event you register for.

• All Junior Runs: £50
• 5k: £100
• 10k: £250
• Half Marathon: £350
• Marathon: £550
• Team Relay: £600

The money you raise will go towards pioneering research into developing and improving treatments for type 1 diabetes, which we hope will one day lead to a cure.

You will also be helping us to provide ongoing support to those affected by type 1.
