This course is suitable for Registered Nurses and HCAs

The day covers basic anatomy and physiology of the ear, how to carry out the procedure correctly, contraindications, special precautions and risks of the procedure.

Infection control and necessary documentation.

The information is based on NICE guidance ‘Management of Ear Wax’ 2021
